Hawthorne Season One is being released today on DVD. I am excited to tell you that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has offered to give one of my lucky readers his or her own 3 disc set.
Haven't seen Hawthorne yet? This amazing new drama series stars Jada Pinkett-Smith who plays Christine Hawthorne a recently widowed nursing director and mother to a teenage daughter. Christine Hawthorne tries to juggle her career and family while struggling to "hold the middle ground in a battle between bureaucratic administrators, heartless doctors, and apathetic colleagues who are caught up in a system that’s forgotten whom it’s there to serve."
More than just a medical drama, it shows the struggle we women face when trying to balance our careers and our family life.
So to enter to win this TV Series, leave a comment sharing how you maintain your hectic life.

Sounds interesting...I keep seeing it advertised on Pandora.
ReplyDeleteThe most important thing for me to maintain my life is to get quiet time alone with God. It's refreshing and puts all the little things that I might find annoying in perspective.
I do not do so good, I an always behind in 1 or more areas. Someday I will get better at doing more, I need to do.

I haven't seen the show but I've heard about it.
ReplyDeleteAs for maintaining my hectic life...I'm barely hanging on some days. Day by day for me.

I use Google Calendar to keep track of my hectic schedule - I have it synced to my phone so I don't miss any appointments.

The only thing I really do to maintain my hectic life is try to stay on somewhat of a schedule with my 3 children, or otherwise it just get's all out of hand! ...and another good thing to do to is learn to say "no" to some things. Don't overwhelm yourself with activities, etc.

I maintain my hectic life by scheduling breaks for fun "me time" frequently throughout the week. As long as I can get some satisfaction and self fulfillment, I will be motivated to keep all the other chaos together, lol!
ReplyDeleteI try to do alot of errands and chores on my days off so that during the week it's not so crazy!
